Review

This story brought back so many good memories. The first one that brought up good memories was that Kate works in a day care which I used to do before my health made it so that I couldn’t work. The second one is that Chatty Cathy( an old doll that talks) was brought up. When I was younger my mother Sold dolls and at one point she had a Chatty Cathy doll and I used to talk all the time (thanks ADHD) so it became a joke that I was a Chatty Cathy.

I enjoyed this book, it had amazing characters Like the main character Kate is the perfect example of a ‘Diamond in the Rough’ She has a very rough exterior and seems like she doesnt care and absolutely hates her job, but in reality she is just guarded and she puts others first and she is a genuine caregiver, she just lacks when it comes to social skills. She takes a lot after her father when it comes to social skills. The other main Character Pyotr is a big sweetheart, who becomes smitten with Kate pretty much right away and he is absolutely Hilarious.

The only thing I disliked about this book is the ending felt super rushed, I felt like it could have used at least another 50 pages minimum.

I ended up giving this book a 4.5 instead of a 5 which I would have rather given is because of how rushed the ending was but, other than that I extremely enjoyed this book.

- “Well, in my country they say that you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.” -Kate
