Review

I was extremely surprised with how short this story actually is. I didn’t expect it to be only 138 pages ( well this is what my tablet says). Imamura made the  narrator sound like she was a ghost because no one saw her.Even though the Woman in the Yellow Cardigan was stalking her, she really cared about the Woman in the Purple skirt. I thought this was very interesting because I have never read a book where the narrator is basically a ghost. I loved how descriptive this entire book was, as if the Woman in the  Yellow Cardigan watched every little thing the Woman in the Purple Skirt did. I found the ending to be shocking. Personally, I found this book hard to get into even though I enjoyed how descriptive it was.
